Phonkworx, after his two releases on Wildtrackin, we look forward to its 3 single „Why Don’t You Love Me » which was recorded with Beatrix Delagdo and the great package of remixes by Wave Crushers, MJ Beck. Analog equipment bass, guitar and keyboard, so you can describe this catchy track. Funky so we know Phonkworx, he shows us once again his love for this genre and presents with « Why Do not You Love Me » and Tyring two NuDisco tracks. Wave Crusher did a proper job on his remix with some dope beats and good funky grooves. Beck’s mix on the other hand is totally different, with simple drum patterns and less vocal use, but nontheless to the point. As a bonus track called Trying and the funkiness of PhonkworX is this Super Nu Groove for themselves.

Voilà une production sympathique à venir sur Wildtrackin un petit label allemand underground.

Dirk Diersing alias Phonkworx a commencé ses propres productions à la fin des années 90’s. C’est un musicien à plein temps, qui interprète la plupart des instruments présents sur ses morceaux.

J’ai bien aimé l’Original Mix de Why Don’t You Love Me avec ses guitares funky et la belle voix de Beatrix Delgado.
La plupart des autres mixes du package promo sont dans des styles plus durs que j’ai donc zappé pour cette sélection.

Par contre j’ai vraiment accroché sur la B-side Trying:star:, un dub agressif situé entre jackin, nu disco et pumpin house. Je vais me dépêcher de l’incluer dans un de mes prochains sets.
